Included in the latest version of the app is a new logo, along with a new spot to enter notes for custom contacts, and some cool birthday notification summaries for desktop.
Here's the breakdown of what's new in Birthday Hub:
- New Logo
- New field for notes at the custom contacts
- Improved OneDrive Login
- Bugfixes
- After logging in to Windows 10, you will see a summary of all the anniversaries of the day
- After logging in to Windows 10, you will see an information about missed anniversaries will popup if you were not logged in to your device at the remind time you set in the settings of the app.
If you haven't given Birthday Hub a try and want to know what it's all about, we reviewed the app earlier in 2016 and came away with positive impressions. I got this so I could keep up with birthdays without having them in my calendar. :)
-
I use a separate calendar for all occasions. This way I can disable it on devices I don't want the notifications. Works fine for my needs.
-
Different recipes for chocolate chip cookies....and many of them taste great. ☺

Looks like they finally fixed the multiple birthday notification in Calendar. You can delete the series now. Not sure why it took them two years, but nice...

There is a Birthday hub? Didnt knew, will check it out. And I was wondering lately how to add birthdays into calendar.
-
Err... Just like any appointment, but a day long Free Time event.
-
Does anyone else besides me not understand the point of this? Why wouldn't you use the calendar? Is it just because of the double event bug?

Birthdays clog up my calendar and my live tile. I end up hiding them on my calendar altogether. This is a second way of keeping track of than information...for me.
