Boldly collect extra Microsoft Points by buying or renting Star Trek TV shows and movies

As part of the 50th anniversary celebration of Star Trek, the Microsoft Rewards program is offering extra bonus points for people who buy or rent Star Trek TV shows or movies.

Microsoft Rewards is the newly revamped version of the Bing Rewards program, which allows people in the U.S. to collect points by using Bing and Microsoft Edge browser, along with buying Xbox and Windows games. The points can then be exchanged for eGift cards for Microsoft products and services, along with Amazon and Starbucks gift cards and more.

In this special offer, you can also get 3,000 extra Microsoft Rewards points when you purchase a Star Trek movie from the Movies and TV service, and that includes pre-orders of the latest movie Star Trek Beyond. You can also get 500 extra points for renting one of those movies. If you want to purchase a season of one of the five Star Trek TV shows, you can claim an extra 4,000 points as well.

  • I recently bought the Dawn of Justice bundle from the Windows store. Guess what, despite repeated attempts I cant get the extended version to download, the theatrical version does download fine. Of course, support was unable to help. Think carefully before you buy something from this crapp store.
  • Folks the orinal Star Trek series computer interface uses tiles simular to those used on windows 8, 8.1 and Windows10. if you doubt me look at what's on the starship bridge monitor systems read out screens that mr Spock ,Uhuru, and other use to check MS tried to mixed the Modern UI tiles interface and the Desktop UI in one program. A TOUGH TASK that even today some love and some hate !
  • If they would just be able to connect the ultraviolet account I would buy more from the Microsoft store.
