Bring glorious Xbox Series X images to your desktop with this Windows theme

These shots are 4K beauties.

What you need to know
- A new Windows theme brings the Xbox Series X to your desktop.
- The theme includes 16 4K beauty shots of the console and controller.
- The free theme is available now at the Microsoft Store (opens in new tab).
You can't quite get your hands on an Xbox Series X yet (that's later this year), but you can at least bring a little bit of the console to your PC. Microsoft launched a new theme in the Microsoft Store that includes several beauty shots of the console and controller to spice up your desktop.
The theme includes a total of 16 images, and they're all available in 4K. They're the shots we've already seen in a lot of Microsoft's Xbox marketing, including close-ups of the controller, the console's details, and more. The dark background really meshes well with the dark theme on Windows as well.
The theme is completely free, so there's no paywall here. It may not be the real thing, but seeing the Xbox Series X on your PC might be able to tide you over until its release later in 2020.
Xbox Series X Windows theme

So, I have never used a downloaded theme before and have always just created my own custom ones. My question is, can I view the different images and select one to use as a wallpaper? I don't want a slideshow on my desktop, and I don't particularly care for the color scheme that is in the theme... I just want the hi-res pics from it...???

Yes you can. I believe it's more like you're downloading a pack of wallpapers
