Activision will release the second DLC pack for its hit first person shooter Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare first on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles March 31. The pack, titled Ascendance, will include four new multplayer maps and the second chapter of the Exo Zombies co-op campaign, among other things.
Here's a look at the four new multiplayer maps in the Ascendance DLC:
- Perplex: Get vertical in Sydney as you fight to dominate this five-story modular apartment complex. Take the high ground or blast through the close-quarters interior in this small to medium sized map. Adapt your strategy mid-match when construction drones shift apartment modules, creating new routes and cover positions.
- Site 244: An alien spacecraft has crash landed, spilling its mysterious cargo under the shadow of Mt. Rushmore, USA. This medium to large three-lane map allows for any style of gameplay, focusing combat through the space ship's fuselage and around the debris-littered landscape. Use the map-based scorestreak to crack open an alien spore and instantly enhance your perks and exo abilities.
- Climate: Fight your way through a futuristic man-made utopia in this lush, climate-controlled enclosure. In this small to medium sized circular map, land and water routes channel frenetic combat around the central island structure. Watch your step when the river water changes from an asset into a deadly bubbling obstacle.
- Chop Shop: Think fast as you make your way through the black market exoskeleton industrial complex and engage in fast-paced shootouts in this medium sized, symmetrical map. Activate the map-based scorestreak to take control of an Advanced Repulsion Turret that radiates a deadly microwave EMP to help lock down key areas.
The second chapter in the Exo Zombies campaign is called, naturally, Infection. Here's a quick summary of what to expect:
In addition, the Ascendance DLC pack will include a new weapon, the OHM directed energy light machine gun/shotgun hybrid. It will also be available in a Werewolf custom variant. Finally, the pack adds the Exo Grapple ability playlist. allowing the Exo Grapple single player gadget to be used in all of the pack's multplayer levels.
The Ascendance DLC pack will be priced at $14.99 on its own but Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players can get it as part of the game's Season Pass, which will deliver all four planned DLC packs for $49.99.

Nice, can't wait
Already have the season pass, my Xbox is ready.
So once this drops I imagine the last mappack maps will finally roll into regular rotation for all game types?
That's what I am wondering as well. Kind of stupid that they do it like that. Should roll out to regular rotation a week or two after release.
They usually do, eventually.
Wonder when the last Titanfall DLC is coming.
Get rid of the Halo jet packs.
I'm not overly interested in purchasing a season pass that is only five dollars less than the cost of the actual game.
