With Microsoft abandoning its Windows phone efforts, we want to know what you, the fans, would do to save the platform from abandonment. Microsoft recently announced that Windows 10 Mobile is no longer a focus for the company, with no new features or hardware in the works, essentially killing the platform's growth.
So, if you were in a position of power at Microsoft, would you try and save Windows phone from its eventual death? If so, how would you go about such a daunting task. You'd have to convince a lot of people at Microsoft to keep pumping resources into this mobile platform that can't seem to gain any mainstream attention.
We have a forum thread going on right now discussing this very topic, so jump in and let us know what you would do. Personally, we would pump money into marketing to get people aware of Windows phones. Make switching to Windows phone easy, make them affordable, and make them wanted by people.
