Destiny 2: Forsaken Legendary Collection goes up for preorder

Recently, Bungie announced the "Forsaken" expansion for Destiny 2, which should hopefully add a slew of new activities to the game and bring fans back. Forsaken is the first major expansion to Destiny 2 and launches on September 4, 2018. With two new destinations to explore, and new weapons, armor and "Super" abilities to acquire, the download takes players on an epic journey into the wild frontiers of our solar system where the lines between justice and revenge are blurred.

While the Forsaken expansion has been available for preorder for some time now, it was somewhat of a hassle for new players. There was no way to purchase all the content together. Luckily, Activision just announced the Destiny 2: Forsaken - Legendary Collection which includes Destiny 2, "Curse of Osiris", "Warmind", and Forsaken.

The package costs $59.99 and is currently available for preorder at a number of retailers. GameStop is also selling a Collector's Edition for $99.99.

  • Been there, done that. Not gonna go there again.
  • So, buy the game for $60, then buy to the expansions for $60. Can you buy loot boxes to level up your character fast also? How about I wait until the price is way down from $120, plus . . . I liked playing the original Destiny a lot . . . until I had to pay to continue the storyline that had only just started . . . never again.
  • They're already well into bringing back old D1 content as "new" and the sheep lap it up. Now just a year later and they are charging full game price for a few weapons, armor skins and new areas. What a scam.
