The first Halo Legendary Crate is here with a slew of Spartan swag

The very first Halo Legendary Crate, a collaboration between the folks at Loot Crate and Halo developer 343 Industries, is now available. The first edition of the bi-monthly Halo crate is fittingly themed "SPARTAN-IV INITIATION," and contains everything you'll need to get started as a Spartan.
343 Industries franchise creative director Frank O'Connor writes (opens in new tab):
We chose SPARTAN-IV INITIATION as our theme because the aspirational aspect of becoming a Spartan super-soldier – slung into the trenches of a fierce battle against a seemingly unstoppable enemy in order to stave off humanity's extinction – is central to our story of survival and sacrifice. It comes packed with everything the aspiring Spartan needs – a UNSC utility satchel, a Spartan-IV pullover, your fireteam pin, an exclusive Halo Icons Spartan Warzone figure, and more.
If you're interested in getting in on the Halo Legendary Crate, you can sign up via Loot Crate. A subscription costs $34.99 every two months, and there are slight discounts for paying for three or six crates up front.
