First-person shooter Gunscape is now available on PC and Xbox One

Gunscape, a new ID@XBOX title, is now available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Putting a unique spin on the first-person shooter, Gunscape adds a Minecraft-like element to the proceedings, letting you create your own solo and multiplayer levels.

In Gunscape, you can create your own single-player campaigns or multiplayer maps, using a wide variety of terrains, enemies, and other items to create your world. When you're finished, you can share both campaigns and maps online with other players. You can find and share levels between all of Gunscape's platforms, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Windows, Mac, and Linux.

The game also supports two kinds of multiplayer gaming. You can play against your friends in person in split-screen mode with up to eight players, while the online multiplayer supports up to 20.

You can grab Gunscape for PC on Steam, while the Xbox One version can be found in the Xbox Store for $19.99.

  • I have to admit this looks pretty fun especially if you're a fan of the original DOOM/Duke Nukem/ROTT games.
  • My Duke Nukems will always be side scrolling platformers, thank you very much! ;]
  • So true. they were really good.
  • You mean Wolfeinstein3D? it was better and funnier, also it was released first than doom, but we get your point ;) Anyway, no windows store, no buy for me. I am not really interested on steam and its company.
  • I'll buy it just for the awesome graphics.
  • Might grab it off Steam.
  • Nevermind, terrible reviews.
  • Looks like a colourful cross between the original DOOM and the original Quake.
  • why is it compared to minecraft. just because it is a cube or because it looks 16bit.
