Fortnite is on a roll. Yesterday, Sony announced that it was opening up cross-play with Xbox One and other platforms, and today the game's Season 6 started. According to the developer, the new content comes with a new "Battle Pass" with a hundred levels and even more rewards. Lastly, the biggest addition has to be pets.
Season 6 seems to be focused on Halloween because it features a lot of sinister items. For example, Epic Games added a mysterious "Shadow Stone" consumable. The team also updated the map to include floating islands and a terrifying castle.
Fortnite is a free-to-play third-person shooter with building mechanics and a PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds-like battle royale mode. The experience also features a campaign which needs to be purchased separately.

Pets??? I can't take this game seriously. All they want is to milk money out of kids, but the game doesn't make sense. Never did, with that building thing artificially stuck to the BR mode because they had already developed it for the original mode.
