The next wave of games is headed to Xbox Game Pass, with the details shared via Xbox Wire on Tuesday.

Players subscribed to the highest tier of Microsoft's gaming subscription service can look forward to Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, the next entry in the annual blockbuster series.

With development again led by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 7 is bringing a four-player co-op campaign, an expanded multiplayer suite, and a huge Zombies mode.

Outside of Call of Duty, another notable addition is a smaller title, Winter Burrow. This cute game mixes cozy vibes with survival gameplay, tasking players with surviving a harsh winter as a humble mouse.

A solid batch of games, but snag some of those departures

This isn't a bad wave of new games by any means, and I'll be using Xbox Game Pass to check out Black Ops 7 and Winter Burrow, the latter of which I've had an eye on for some time.

There are a couple of games leaving that really sting for my tastes however, with both the first Frostpunk (though the sequel is staying) and STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl departing Xbox Game Pass.

I've already bought both games, and I highly recommend others do as well. Both are excellent survival experiences, in admittedly hugely different ways.
