Developer The Coalition and publisher Microsoft have some big Gears of War 4 news coming. It's so big that the official Gears of War website has posted a countdown clock for the news, which will be revealed on Monday, April 11 for the upcoming Xbox One sci-fi shooter sequel.
Gears of War's community manager Adam Fletcher also posted about the website countdown on his Twitter account, and hinted that this announcement is going to be something of a surprise:

The reveal will be made one week before the closed beta test for Gears of War 4 is supposed to start, followed by an open beta later in April. The game is scheduled to be released on October 11.
