High res images of the AT&T HTC Titan

Also just posted on the Windows Phone Blog, we finally get to see the AT&T HTC Titan what may also be called the ultimate Windows Phone. Behold it's glory and while many of you know the specs on this big boy, we'll repost below to tantalize you:

  • 4.7" TFT display
  • 1.5GHz MSM8255 CPU
  • 8MP BSI sensor with AF, F2.2/28mm. 2X LEDs flash
  • Front facing camera
  • 11 hours talk time

Also no word on pricing or availability, but we're gonna guess sometime in November since this image doesn't look like the prototype device we saw a few weeks ago in New York City.

  • Do you have any idea why all these new WP7 devices seem to be hanging in limbo? Seems when it comes to WP7 everything is shrouded in secrecy, as if no one wants to release the phones.
  • I imagine carriers are a little wary of windows phone 7, since it hasn't really been selling super well. Hopefully that will change...
  • Bull!
  • Maybe Microsoft forced carriers to wait with releasing till Nokia announced their handsets? To give Nokia a premiere? Only HTC released devices so far... (in Europe, at least)
  • @TheWarIsNotOver...Please! Microsoft can't force the carriers to do anything, otherwise Verizon and Sprint would have more WP models!Nokia is the premier partner, and word is that the Nokia WP devices will be released in Europe first anyway, so ATT not releasing their devices would have no bearing on Nokia's launch.
  • @Tansen..That makes no sense! Wary, but AT&T grabs three of most desired WP devices and will release them first?Again, your comment makes zero sense.
  • Play the Apple game? Tease people with hints and leaks and get it hyped up? Then release it! I dunno. Maybe? Just being "glass half full" here. :)
  • Hot damn! Can't wait. 4G* Titan! edit: you forgot the 4G in the specs for the Titan.
  • Hopefully us early contract buyers will be able to see wp8 devices soon to be released by the time our two year contract is up.
  • 1.5GHz? I thought max was 1.4.
  • I don't think this is 4G... Or is it?? I haven't heard or seen any reports on this. I know the Focus S has HSDPA+. But I think the titan only has 3G antenna like the iPhone. Also, why does AT&T insist on putting their logo on the front. I like how the iPhone is bare and so is the Nexus on the front. Please leave the logos on the back. It just makes the phone look ugly.
  • All of the new AT&T phones are HSDPA+ including the iPhone 4s. AT&T markets this as 4G though it is more like 3.5G.
  • It was interesting to note that Apple did not say "4G" during the iPhone 4S announcement.
  • That's because both Verizon and Sprint do not offer HSDPA+. It would have pissed off their partners if they tout a feature that in essence will be exclusive to ATT.
  • I still do not see this mentioned anywhere. Not even in ANY reviews i've found so far. I believe it's only HSDPA.
  • what is the specs of the front facing camera? and is the apeture better than what the iphone 4s has?
  • FF camera on Titan is 1.3 mp (vga for the iPhone 4s). Also, the back camera on the Titan is (at least on paper) better than the iPhone 4s due to it's F2.2/28mm lens.
  • I bought accident insurance through AT&T with my phone, the HTC HD7S. Since they're discontinuing the phone and letting it run out of stock, do you think they'll give me this phone as a replacement?
  • They'll have some refurb units.
  • Correct, one thing is what they have on their sales floor, and another on their repair depot. Don't go running over your phonw with your car just yet, you might just end up with the same phone.
  • I'm actually digging this phone more and more. Wish it was coming to T-Mo. Hoping Nokia brings something like this to the table.
  • More and more this is going to be my next phone. Hurry up, Nokia. ;)
  • I got my htc Titan from phones 4u on a orange upgrade ,they do it on t-mobile . It's is the best phone I have ever got. It is fast and the battery life is fantastic ,I give it a full charge last night ,got up at 6am it is now 10pm and it says I got 18 hours 40% battery life left so that's 30 hours on a full charge (depends what you are doing on the phone). I have been on Facebook ,youtube ,twitter, gmail ,Internet ,and played a few games and calls today so that's not bad at all .....
  • The phone is beautiful, the only reason I would not get it is because it doesn't have the super AMOLED plus screen. Also the 4.7" screen is just too big for me but not a big deal. After using the Samsung Focus, it has become my favorite wp7 device hands down. There's a couple reason why like MicroSD support, I can have a max 40 GB storage but the main reason by far is the screen. Reviews all over have confirmed that the super AMOLED is the best screen you can get and I have never seen a screen that can match its beauty from any OS or manufacturer. As of right now the only phone I would upgrade to is the Focus S, that's only because of the super AMOLED Plus screen, the screen just destroys any other screen. Plus the screen size is perfect.I would greatly consider this device only if it had the super AMOLED. This device is gorgeous but I just can't bring myself to use a screen less potent that the AMOLED, especially considering how beautiful Metro UI is.
