HTC Titan and Radar (SIM free) available October 15th from Amazon UK

Start those countdown clocks boys and girls, as the HTC Titan and Radar are now listed on Amazon UK's website. Fetching for the quite hefty £529.99 ($860) for the Titan and £349.99 ($568) for the Radar, the SIM free devices are set to be released on October 15th--just a few short weeks away.

Of note is the fact that Microsoft is officially calling this Windows Phone 7.5 to differentiate from first-gen devices. Guess old habits are hard to break.

  • Feelings are mixed. If WP7 fails badly I might at least be able to afford the Titan. Just look at how the first generation dropped during the summer already, towards €200.On a side note, still angry I couldn't get a webOS HP touchpad.
  • You get the Samsung Omnia 7 new for about 200 € (unlocked, no cotract). Why should anyone pay almost three time that price to just get a 500Mhz faster CPU and a camera with more MP? Also HTC cameras usually suck so the HTC 8 MP camera is probably equal to the Omnia 7 5MP camera...
  • You must not have seem the dozens of posts about the new camera tech for htc.
  • We havent seen anything on quality though.
