Microsoft employees getting Mango (7720) starting today?

This is just an interesting little tid-bit but we just got word that Microsoft employees can now get their phones updated to "Mango" 7720 starting today.
We were curious as to how this would be done i.e. if it is a similar process to how devs can now upgrade via Zune Desktop or do they just go to some guy's office, line up with their phones and have it flashed?
Turns out, it's actually closer to the latter part! Employees can take their phone to the Device Lab on the Bellevue campus and have it flashed to the finalized, RTM version of "Mango". That's pretty cool. So any of our readers want to chime in if they've experienced this?

Oh my, What phone is this?
-
It's called "Render" or the Samsung ItsNotReal.
-
>_>
-
Now you did it! Someone is going to start spreading the rumor about the awesome new 'Samsung Render'. :)
-
I wonder if I can just sneak into the Mtn. View MS office and get my phone hooked up with Mango./dreamsOr maybe this friend that works there, now that could work.
-
You mean Bellevue, Washington
-
they need to make that phone real. Can't wait for an upgrade so I can get rid of my focus that won't connect to my computer.
-
I have a Focus and I don't have that problem. I'm also rocking Mango 7712.
-
They actually started this a little over a week ago. I have a friend that works for Microsoft and he was at their campus on the 1st and he had his phone flashed to 7720.
-

-
hmm...it's getting close people.

-
Not much longer now. Holy **** 9/1 is less than 3 weeks away. Check for updates, check for updates, check for DOH! why won't 3 weeks pass faster?
-
is microsft hiring? lol

I'll take this with a grain of salt, given that the September 1 launch date was just debunked, supposedly. If this is true, however, than that means that all U.S. handsets (Focus, Quantum, Surround, HD7, Venue Pro, Arrive, and Trophy) have been carrier tested, which seems far-fetched...
-
Too bad this is NOT true. Turns our, they have to wait for the update from the carriers just like the rest of us. Confirmed this today.

Our source works for Microsoft (confirmed), we even know the department area. They seemed pretty specific with the details and ability to do this.
