'Nite Buddy' turns your Windows Phone into a bedside weather clock

One thing people love doing is turning their phones into virtual Swiss Army knives and one way of doing that is making it an bedside alarm clock.
Nite Buddy caught our attention because it's free (ad supported), automatically fetches weather (GPS), has adjustable brightness, colors and overall looks pretty nice. Plus it just works so well with the HD7 or Surround's kick-stand feature. Of course when running, it will keep the screen on, so make sure you're plugged in if you want to make it till morning.
Any of you have a go-to clock app that you swear by? Let us know in comments. Grab Nite Buddy here for free in the Marketplace.

I just downloaded this. it's pretty nice. though I wouldn't mind a pay version to remove the adds. in the add place perhaps a 5 day forecast show.but well worth having for sure.

If your phone is in portrait mode, it shows a 5 day forecast.

I just knew clicking on this RSS feed article that it wasn't going to be pretty. And I was not the least bit surprised to see the outcome...no eye candy at all...just what I expected. Dev work on WP7 has been pretty ho-hum...

Pay versions of these types of apps have "eye candy". This is basic and to the point, which is why I like it. I wanna sleep, not be entertained or transfixated on my phone.
