Offworld Trading Company is a game about business and aggressive expansion on planets other than Earth. Starting on a level playing field with the competition, it's down to you to manage resources, expand to cover valuable areas and buy out competitors. While the game requires a financial contribution from your personal stash to get started, Stardock is removing this requirement this weekend on Steam.
Not only will you be able to play the full game against the capable AI, multiplayer access is also granted, which allows you to play with up to eight other people in a competitive match. And if that wasn't enough, Stardock has also slashed the price of Offworld Trading Company to celebrate the free to play promotion, and can now be bought for $19.99. The free weekend (and discount) ends at 1 p.m. on May 6, so be sure to get cracking now.
