Jez Corden, gaming lead: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
Android tablets have become more compelling to me recently thanks to Xbox Game Pass' cloud streaming platform, also known as Project xCloud. I'm using a Galaxy A 8-inch tablet at the moment, but wondered if I could get more out of a 10-inch model instead, which futureproofs the resolution a bit. Additionally, the Tab S6 comes with a stylus and inking capabilities. Using apps like VirtualTablet, you can use inking with PC applications too.

What if literally everything had RGB lights in it? Well, we're not quite there yet, but RGB lights in a mousemat is probably the first step towards a more colorful age. This huge mousemat should span the width of most desks, and comes with pretty lights that you can control with Razer's PC Synapse software. What's not to love?

Al Sacco, content director: Withings/Nokia Body Cardio – Heart Health & Body Composition Digital Wi-Fi Scale
I've had my eye on a Withings smart scale for a good year now, but the old "dumb" scale I've been using to weigh myself for years was always "good enough." That changed today when I saw the Prime Day deals on smart scales, and I just pulled the trigger on the Withings/Nokia Body Cardio – Heart Health & Body Composition Digital Wi-Fi Scale, which is 21 percent off for Prime.

Al Sacco, content director: LIFX LED Smart Light Strip
A while back I bought a LIFX smart light starter kit, and I promptly placed it behind my TV. It's great, and I get comments on it all the time, or I did when I used to be able to have guests over to my place. Ever since, I've been meaning to expand my smart-light setup to additional areas of my apartment but it was just expensive enough that skipped it. Today's Prime Day deal pushed me over the edge, and I finally bought another strip that I plan to use in my kitchen, above my stove, so I can be one of those guys whose TV and stove are lit in matching LED colors. Yeah.

Al Sacco, content director: Stasher Reusable Storage Bags
My wife and I already had half a dozen of these Stasher bags, but as soon as I saw the Prime Day deals, I bought more. They're great. We rarely use plastic storage bags at all anymore, which is not only eco but also saves us money every week. They come in a ton of different sizes and colors. They're dishwasher save, and they're perfect for refrigerating or freezing leftovers. I love Stasher bags, and I love this deal.

Richard Devine, reviews editor: Suunto Core All Black
Despite not being an outdoorsy type person, I've been in the market for a rugged, outdoors watch for some time. Instead of taking the predictable route this Prime Day and hunting for a G-Shock I pulled the pin on the Suunto Core All Black and a third-party band. It's got intelligent features like weather and storm alerts without being a traditional smartwatch, will last a full year on a battery and looks pretty bad ass. A hefty discount at Amazon UK was the icing on the cake.

Richard Devine, reviews editor: Samsung EVO Select 128GB microSD
Events like Prime Day are always the time to stock up on memory cards and having just acquired a Surface Go 2, it's been a golden opportunity to expand its storage. While I did go for the 128GB model, in the grand scheme it's still not much, so for less than $20 I can double that with one of these reduced memory cards from Samsung. Easy.

Rich Edmonds, staff reviewer: Oral-B Smart 4 4000
Brushing your teeth is incredibly important and since my existing Oral-B electric brush is on its last legs, it's about time I replaced it. With the current ongoings throughout the world, visiting your dentist is largely still out of the question. This is why I continue to purchase Oral-B's range to ensure my teeth and gums are given the proper washing treatment twice daily, especially when discounted.

Richard Devine, reviews editor: Microsoft Modern Mobile Bluetooth Mouse
Another Prime Day deal to accessorize my new Surface Go 2, Microsoft's own Modern Mobile Bluetooth Mouse was reduced here in the UK so it was the perfect choice. My whole thing with using the Surface Go 2 is having a compact, lightweight workstation that I can use anywhere, and I'll always choose a mouse over any trackpad. This fits the bill perfectly.

Sean Endicott, news writer: ASUS ZenBook 14
My brother-in-law asked me to help him pick out a laptop yesterday, and I found a great Prime Day deal on the ASUS Zenbook 14. The Ryzen 7 3700U is zippy enough to handle his workload, and the unique number pad that's built into the trackpad will help him on his course that requires a lot of math.

Samuel Tolbert, freelance writer: Bring hell
I absolutely love gaming art books, so when I saw a lightning deal for this hardcover dive into id Software's latest masterpiece, I had to grab it. It's still on sale and is a worthy addition to any coffee table book set.
