This Prime Day is just getting started. For the avid readers out there, Amazon is offering $5 off books valued at $15 or more when you enter promo code PRIMEBOOK19 during checkout. You can purchase multiple books to reach the $15 minimum and earn the $5 discount, though it all has to be purchased within one order and sold directly by Amazon.
This Prime Day discount is only valid towards print books, either paperback or hardcover, and you'll need a Prime membership to take advantage of it. If you're not a member yet, you can start a free 30-day trial to make your account eligible for all of Amazon's Prime Day deals.

The deal given is no longer valid and we do not have a better one. However, we have found some similar deals
The promo code can even be paired with books already on sale to make for even better savings. Amazon's Deals in Books page is a good place to start. Personally, I might use it soon on this illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which falls to $23.79 with the discount. That's the lowest price it's ever reached, though it's still on pre-order through early October.
Anyone dismayed by the end of HBO's Game of Thrones adaptation can pick up this Game of Thrones 5-book set for $30.67 with the code and experience the story it was based on. You'd be paying around $6 apiece for each book in the set.
