Turn your virtual Minecraft avatar into a real-life USB flash drive with Minetoys

Minecraft plays now can bring their player avatars into the real world and turn them into a USB flash drive that can be shipped directly to them. That's just one of the new features that is being provided by a company called Minetoys, which creates custom 3D printed models of Minecraft characters.

The USB flash drives include 8GB of storage, which should be more than enough space for Minecraft players to store save games, modes and more game-related files. Minetoys also offers pre-created Minecraft figures that look like characters from Star Wars, Marvel Comics and others. Finally, the company has added a feature which will allow a Minecraft avatar figure to be made that is twice as tall as its normal size.

  • Exactly what I said. ****. Not even in 2012. If it was at least 16GB than yeah, sure.
  • Not even then. 16 GBs are like 6-10 dollars
  • Yea. I have seen 32 and even 64gb drives for around $20-30.... 8gb ? What can you really use that for these days.... I carry a 256gb drive with me where ever I go and I want a 512gb one...
  • Minecraft toys are a great opportunity for lazy manufacturers, they are all square and generally ugly.
  • McFarlane toys are losing their mind over it, lol
  • Heh, because others could be making more money with Minecraft toys than theydo with their detailed figures :p
  • I bought the Halo Mashup in Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. It's pretty sweet if you like Halo and you like Minecraft.
  • That would've been an amazing holiday gift idea... if it had been available starting in October or November...
  • They've been in business for more than 4 years, and there's at least still time for the Xmas season this year.
  • That's...cool
