Chime in: What's your favorite PC game of all time?

PC gaming has been around for decades, and today there are many, many people playing on Windows. Just take PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), for example. This title recently amassed more than a million concurrent players. That's one game. It's a staggering statistic, but everyone has a favorite game they keep returning to.

This is a difficult question for me to answer, personally. I have many games that hold my attention without issue. Take a fully modded Skyrim install, and I'll inject hundreds of hours. Ark: Survival Evolved is also another game I can pour much time into. Then there's PUBG, League of Legends, Stellaris, and X3: Albion Prelude, just to get started.

If I had to select one, it would be Stellaris simply because it offers me almost exactly what I want from a space strategy game. That and it now offers fully kitted out synthetic races.

Everyone has a favorite

Community ambassador JosIah93 started up a thread asking this very question.

Do you have a favorite game that you have previously played? What makes it your favorite game? The story? The connection between you and the characters? A bit of both or something else? When was the first time you have played the game? Do you still have the game today? Open discussion to everyone in the community

It's an interesting discussion because everyone approaches gaming differently. Some value gameplay, while others look only at the story or a specific feature. Two people may have the same favorite, but for different reasons. We want to know what you think. Head on over to our community forum and join the discussion.

From the forum: What's your single favorite game you've played?
