Will Microsoft still support the Lumia 950 in 2022?

Microsoft's commitment to Windows 10 Mobile, and indeed its phone division, is a little questionable these days. So it's no surprise to see our forum members asking whether or not their beloved Lumia 950 series of devices will continue to be supported in 2019.

If history serves us well, support for the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will likely end within the next year or so. Previous Windows phone flagships, including the 920, 925 and 930, were all supported for between two and three years before they were no longer eligible for feature updates.

Of course, Microsoft may wish to take a different approach with its Lumia 950 series. But as far as we can tell, the company will end support around the same time as it has with previous phones. Will a replacement be ready by then? We simply don't know. What we do know is Microsoft is indeed working on a new mobile device, so that's good (great?) news.

Do you think Microsoft will support Lumia 950 in 2019? If so, why will the company veer away from the way it handled support for flagship phones in the past? Hit the link below and let us know.
