As part of Sid Meier's long-running Civilization series, Civilization Revolution is probably the most recognizable entry in today's release. In the series' typical turn-based strategy format, Civilization Revolution tasks you with leading a nation from the very early stages of civilization all the way through to the space age. Along the way, you'll have to contend with not only war but all of the diplomatic and technological challenges a nation must contend with.

In comparison, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is an Xbox Arcade title based on a much simpler premise. The game features a unique 2D aesthetic mixed with action-adventure gameplay and its fair share of puzzles to solve. Your goal? To find alien technology to upgrade your ship and get back home.

If you already own either game, you can go ahead and start playing on your Xbox One right away. Also be sure to check out our running list of backward compatible titles for more.
