Build a bigger burger with Chris' Burger for Windows 10 Mobile

If you're in the market for some fun time wasting in which you must stack burgers, cheese, tomatoes and other toppings as high as you can, look no further!

Miss the hamburger bun with your flip and the game is over. The design of Chris' Burger is minimalistic, but it looks great. Its gameplay offers a nice level of difficulty, and while you may not find yourself playing this Windows 10 Mobile game for hours on end, it is great for shorter spurts of time.

The main menu for Chris' Burger sports the same minimalistic design that can be found throughout, with an option to play the game and view your highest score. When you jump into gameplay, there is no tutorial, but then again, this isn't the most difficult game to sort out.

The game screen has a mute button nestled in the lower right corner and a button to pull up the toppings list in the lower left corner. Your score and toppings are displayed at the top center of the game display.

Burgers and toppings fall from the top of the screen and land onto the frying pan that is positioned towards the center of the screen. The goal is to flip the burgers and toppings on top of a bun that is sitting adjacent to the frying pan. To do so, just tap the screen to give your frying pan a flipping action. The longer the tap on the screen, the more intensity your frying pan action is.

At the start of the game, you'll only be stacking burger patties on the bun. As you pass scoring milestones, additional toppings become available. Toppings include tomatoes, cheese slices and more. Each topping reacts a little differently when flipped, adding to the challenge of this game. For example, cheese doesn't flip, and tomatoes are lighter, not requiring much force to launch from the pan.

Once you get a stack started, the more toppings and burgers you safely add to the stack increases the points you earn. Miss the stack with an item and the game is over. Just keep in mind that you cannot bounce an item off the edge of the screen. It would be a nice feature but, as is, your burger or topping simply sails off the screen and ends the game.

Chris' Burger offers a fun, and casual gaming experience. It will challenge your skills at timing and patience, without inducing stress. The Windows 10 Mobile game has a minimal, clean appearance and at times, it is a little surprising how tough it can be to flip a tomato onto a burger.

My only gripe with Chris' Burger is the lack of a tutorial. It does not take long to sort out the mechanics of the game, but some of the finer points can be difficult to understand. The most notable example are the numbers that are beneath each topping as it appears at the top of the game screen. I first thought that this represented the number of a topping in the queue to drop, but after exhaustive testing, that was not the case.

This is not a deal breaker but would make the game slightly more user-friendly. Overall, Chris' Burger is a fun Windows 10 Mobile title. There is an addictive pull to the game, making it a good option when you need an entertaining way to pass the time on the go.
