The Nokia Lumia 1020 is Nokia’s follow up to their 2012 PureView 808 Symbian device, which featured a new 41MP camera sensor. The Lumia 1020 takes that same technology and merges it with the Lumia 920’s optical image stabilization (OIS) and Windows Phone 8 to bring mobile photography to a new level. The combination of technologies should ensure high resolution, sharp and blur free photos.
The device features a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen, 32GB of internal memory (no expansion), 2GB of RAM and a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon CPU. The phone is nearly identical to the Lumia 920 except it omits built-in Wireless charging (Qi) in order to make the device thinner.
In addition to the device itself, an optional wireless charging backplate and a separate camera grip are available to enhance the device.
