Gaming EA may have shut down Anthem's official servers, but its executive producer says code for private ones exists and is "there to be salvaged and recovered."

Gaming EA has announced that its ambitious live-service extraction shooter, Anthem, will sunset servers on January 12, 2026. The game will be unplayable, as it was designed to be an online-only experience.
