APB Reloaded lets you play cops and robbers with friends on Xbox One

APB Reloaded is an open-word, free-to-play crime Massive Multiplayer Online game that enables you to join up with friends or random players to either be a vigilante or criminal. Everything is based in the city of San Paro, where those who attend will be able to enjoy shoot-outs, robberies and some adrenaline-pumping car chases.

It's free-to-play so you know there'll be micro transactions available, and indeed there are. As noted by VideoGamer G1C is the in-game currency to purchase pretty much everything, but if you wish to fast track to that one item you so desperately desire, you can spend up to $114.99 (£70) in a single sitting.

The title is currently launching in a soft mode so the developer can receive feedback from players and better fine tune the experience. You can download APB Reloaded from the Xbox Store.

  • Is this like that Lifemod for Arma?
  • The back story to this game is fascinating and well worth reading up on.
  • Where is the back story? :) Posted from Windows Central for XL
  • I meant in the development of the game. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/gamesblog/2010/aug/27/realtime-wo...
  • Yeah, that's what I thought you meant from the beginning. Thanks! :)
  • Excellent reading, you were right! Thank you. (Can't edit above reply)
  • this game is old and it was already dead on PC... sorry... dead from the begining
  • Why? Console gamers are usually better.
  • Consoles are for kids, YOU ARE NOT A GAMER!!, UNTILL YOU ARE A PC GAMER \o/ The game was not good at all, even at the time of its launch!
  • I loved APB the ol' coin op game. Was fun.
  • Always wanted to try this game. Might give it a go now its on the X1. Off topic, is there anyone else facing issues with the WC app on the latest insider build? Since I have installed it, I cant launch the app from the tile/app list/Cortana or the store. I can only open the app from notification centre. Also, that bug were the keypad covers the input box has returned.

  • I have that with most apps I pin to the start screen.
  • That's not good. Everything worked prior to latest build installation. And its the only app that's problematic.
  • Trying to resurrect a 4 year old corpse. That's the truth about this game.
    Fancy console launch.
  • >you can spend up to £114.99 ($70) Genuine question - should that be £70 ($114) ?
  • Wow. Just tried it. All I can say is BAD. REALLY, REALLY BAD. From the graphics, to the controls, to the game play. Ugh.
  • This came out in 2010 for PC.. What do you except.. The game was DOA because all of the dev problems. It was a great concept ruined by F2P
  • Hope this is a fun game! Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • I was intrigued by the title. I was turned off once I saw "free-to-play."
