Best Xbox One games releasing between January 28 and February 1

Every week, numerous games launch on Xbox One, but which ones truly stand out? Here are some of the biggest and most anticipated titles launching across Microsoft's platforms next week.

Next week we have one major "AAA" release on the console, but there are still a few surprises here and there. Notably, Kingdom Hearts III is finally launching on Xbox One, and Genesis Alpha One offers an interesting take on the popular genre. With that in mind, here are all the biggest games launching next week, between January 28 to February 1, 2019.

Kingdom Hearts III is an action role-playing game that combines the universes of various Disney franchises and Final Fantasy. It sounds almost like it shouldn't work, but somehow, it just does, and the franchise has won itself millions of fans across the world. This is the latest entry in this long-running series which has been mostly exclusive to Nintendo and PlayStation systems up until now.

Kingdom Hearts III should launch on January 29, priced at $59.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements and features performance and graphics modes.

Genesis Alpha One

Genesis Alpha One is a roguelike first-person shooter coupled with a base-building and survival game. The game took everyone by surprise when it was announced a few months ago due to its visuals and complex gameplay mechanics.

Genesis Alpha One should launch on January 29, priced at $29.99.

Animal Super Squad

Animal Super Squad is a physics-based adventure game that lets you play as a cute animal. You'll speed through a world full of danger and bananas. You can create your own levels, share them with the community, or forget all that and just play other people's creations.

Animal Super Squad should launch on February 1, priced at $9.99.

Bombfest

Bombfest is an award-winning party game for up to four friends. You can battle in wooden forts, on folding chairs, or inside the kitchen sink as you attempt to be the last player standing. Think of it as battle royale on a much smaller scale. As the name suggests, you have to use bombs to eliminate your foes, but don't get caught in a chain reaction of explosions.

Bombfest should launch on January 31, priced at $19.99. The game features Xbox One X enhancements.

Other experiences like Wargroove and Worbital should also release next week.
