Blinkbox, the digital movie and TV content service run by British supermarket giant, Tesco, is now finally available for Windows Phone. The app, available to download now will allow you access to your Blinkbox TV and movie purchases and rentals and allow you to watch them right there on your phone.
The app is now actually universal, and in joining its companion for Xbox One means Blinkbox customers are covered across all of their main devices. There's not much to it, as it's basically just a media player with access to your previous purchases. You can't buy anything from within the app, nor can you sign up for a new account. All of that must be done through a web browser.
If you're new to the service, depositing £1 in your account will trigger Blinkbox to add £3.49 free credit, which gives you enough to rent a new HD movie.
