BNP Paribas Fortis releases mobile banking apps for Windows 10

Belgian bank BNP Paribas Fortis has released official apps for Windows 10, which will run on both your PC and Windows 10 Mobile handset. Much like other mobile banking apps, you'll be able to log into your account(s) and view balances, as well as perform various other actions. The app will ensure you remain connected to the bank when not in front of a desk, allowing for transfers and more.

What's more is the app looks rather nice and should be a pleasant experience for those who have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. A clean interface, simple account views and a secure setup make the official apps a must-have for anyone who banks at BNP Paribas Fortis. There's even a demo to walk you through everything.

Download Hello bank! by BNP for Windows 10 (opens in new tab)

A big thanks to Marijn M. for the tip!

  • Wow apps are flowing in windows store
  • Trickling might still be a more accurate description, especially as some others have recently left. But, maybe it turns into a healthy flow and a roaring stream by spring time! :) Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • Hola "laCaixa" ;) #España
  • Great to see banking apps... hoping UK get some soon !!
  • Already available, Nat West, Metro, Lloyds, Barclays, RBS, TSB, First Direct The only 2 banks missing really are Nationwide, and HSBC. (maybeyou'd counter Santanrubbish) This is on mobile. I would expect them to all jump to Win10 at some point.  Nat West's app is excellent on all platforms. I personally changed bank to get app access as its sooo convenient, and moving banks in the UK is even easier now with the fast switch service taking only 7 days maximum. I did mine manually and it was still simple.   As Martin Lewis says "ditch and switch", then tell your bank why, as I did. No app, no customer.
  • The first direct app doesn't work on win 10 mobile and they haven't said whether they intend to fix it or not
  • I hope Barclays UK is watching and do the same for windows 10 pc and mobile ☺
  • Now probably a great time to send them a tweet or email.
  • Thought they had one. Nat West and RBS ones are superb. I keep messaging others too.
  • They do but it be nice to have an universal one and more windows 10 like, the one thay have has the old windows 8 style
  • It's not the amount of apps that is key. It's the quality of the apps that are coming in that's really encouraging. It does look like the Universal Apps are gaining traction and when you think about it, who the **** wouldn't want to write a Windows 10 app when you think about te sheer volume of potenial users over the next 3 years. Those who don't make a universal app could be left out in the cold...
  • Finally! After the other big banks in Belgium had their Windows Phone 8 app, BNP Fortis had to do something. Now the biggest bank from the country shows intrest in the Windows (Mobile) platform. Thank you Microsoft for UWA and BNP Fortis for making use of it.
  • We are still missing an ING app unfortunately....
  • Tell them about it
  • ING Romania confirmed on Twitter that the W10 app is almost ready to deploy. Maybe they are developing pan-european. Posted via the Windows Central App for Android
  • I hope KBC and Belfius follows. I mean on the desktop. I would love that instead of grabbing my phone all the time when i am working on the desk.
  • Belfius allready has a WP app! Check your locale WP Store ;-)
  • I ment the Windows Store on the desktop, i would love to use their apps on my laptop. And my Start Menu would look so much nicer lol :)
  • Sorry, my fault...
    Sorry, verkeerd gelezen ;-)
    Excuse moi, mal lu ;-)
  • Geen probleem :) Prettige feestdagen toegewenst!
  • Voor jou ook ;-)
  • Hello Bank is a online division of BNP. So question is whether the app only works for the Hello platform or for BNP Fortis clients too
  • for accounts of BNP Paribas there is a separate app "Easy Banking" for windows phone 10 and windows 10. I'm using it for 2 weeks now and it's a good app.
  • Not available to download?
  • Great!
  • You have to set your region on "Belgium" to br able to download it...
I had the same issue because of the cortana problem...
  • That's great news!
  • Come on Chase!!!
  • Who is the developer? I'd like to forward their contact information to my Credit Union and Bank.
  • This is all good new, but I wish First Direct would wake up, their W8.1 app doesn't work now in W10 and they don't seem to have any plans to fix or develop a bre one!
  • BNP Paribas is a French bank quoted on Paris' stock exchange...
  • But BNP Paribas Fortis is what happened after the Belgian bank Fortis was bought by BNP Paribas. So, BNP Paribas Fortis is a Belgian bank, sort of.
  • This one is for hello bank a pure online bank, BNP Paribas already had the "EASY BANKING" app
  • I'm an 18y old Belgian student. And BNP Paribas Fortis is being my bank since I was born. I am having and loving Windows Phones for some years now without my banking app.
I felt left out because all my friends with Iphones/Android devices have the mobile app for a long time now. So I realy wanted it and now it's here. FINALY :) It means a lot for me.
