Chime in: Did Microsoft give up on Windows 10 Mobile too soon?

It's a question that we're sure plenty Windows phone fans, but did Microsoft give up on Windows 10 Mobile too soon? It's not like Microsoft tried very hard to market the platform or hardware that shipped with it. In fact, we're pretty sure that Microsoft didn't make any advertisements for the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

I think its obvious MS didn't want to deal with phones and that is why no new ones. Then they can blame the lack of interest (even though there can't be any interest when there is nothing released to get interest in).

Perhaps Microsoft thought it wasn't worth marketing, as it was doomed to fail anyway? We know that internally, Microsoft had lots of plans for Windows 10 Mobile, but most of which never made it outside planning stages due to Satya Nadella pulling the plug on the company's phone efforts.

If Microsoft had given Windows 10 Mobile as much of a chance as Windows Phone 8 and 8.1, maybe we'd be in a different place today. Unfortunately, that never happened. We want to know what your thoughts are on this topic however, so make sure you partake in our ongoing forum discussion about this right now!
