The 1.8.2 patch that was already known of for The Division is now available to agents on Xbox, PC and PS4 and is the last scheduled patch (at least that we know of right now) that will bring new content to the game.
It's not a huge update but it does add the Shield Challenges that were unveiled this week at E3 along with a couple of new legendary missions.
Here's what's new, courtesy of The Division subreddit:
- Legendary Missions
- Shields
- New Vanity Collections / Encrypted Cache IV
- Balancing Changes
- Reactivation Cache
The Shield Challenges will be a monthly occurrence that will give the player exclusive in-game rewards for both The Division and The Division 2. The original has had a good life, and it's now time to hit the road to the sequel.
The good news is, if you've never played and curious to check it out, The Division is now available as part of Xbox Game Pass. The Division 2 is set to launch on March 15, 2019.
