Dropbox for Windows Phone 8.1 updated with interface tweaks and more

Dropbox for Windows Phone 8.1 has picked up a pretty solid new update, bringing the app to version 2.3 with some tweaks to the interface and more. In this latest update, text selection has made its way to the text viewer and images in the gallery are now grouped by date.

Here's the lowdown on what's new in Dropbox version 2.3:

  • Gallery: Images are grouped by date
  • Recents: incremental data loading to see more events
  • Text viewer: text can be selected
  • Improve UI of the app
  • Improve the startup time of the app
  • Bug fixes and performance improvement

Dropbox is a universal app with Windows 8.1 as well, but developer Rudy Huyn notes that these improvements are only hitting the Windows Phone 8.1 version of the app. To grab the latest update, go ahead and hit up the link below.
