According to my colleague, Zachary Boddy's review of GameSir G7 Pro, GameSir knocked it out of the park with its excellent build quality, treasure trove's worth of features, and wireless connectivity with various devices...except Xbox consoles.

But we're getting ahead of ourselves. Let's dive into what makes the GameSir G7 Pro one of the best Xbox controllers you can buy right now for Xbox and PC gaming.

For starters it feels really comfortable to hold and use thanks to its ergonomic and sturdy design with rubberized grips and swappable faceplates.

The GameSir G7 Pro also includes Tri-Mode connectivity so it can connect wirelessly via 2.4GHz Wireless to PC, Bluetooth to mobile devices, and wired to Xbox consoles and PC.

However, this controller's best qualities are in its advanced features for gaming, which include:

  • Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) analog sticks which are more durable, comfortable, and accurate compared to regular ones.
  • Hall Effect triggers with built-in micro-switch trigger stops for faster and more precise in-game inputs.
  • An absurdly high polling rate of 1,000Hz on PC for enhanced input performance.
  • Gyroscope aiming on PC to achieve gaming mouse-level precision when controlling the camera, along with four extra remappable buttons.

As an added bonus, the GameSir G7 Pro comes with a compatible Smart Auto Start-Stop Charging Station with a 1200Ah battery.

The only drawbacks of this controller are that it's wireless only for Xbox consoles and that its D-Pad can feel too mushy.

If you don't mind those little hiccups, then the GameSir G7 Pro is a must-have controller as its specs can give the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro a run for its money.

On top of that, it's now $20 cheaper thanks to this 25% early Black Friday discount for $59.99 at Best Buy.

Does it have a 3.5mm audio jack?

It does, and it's functional while the controller is being used wired or wirelessly.

If it suffers from stick drift or calibration issues, how do I fix them?

If the GameSir G7 Pro starts to have calibration or stick drift problems, you can fix them by following a manual recalibration process (by holding the View, Menu, and Xbox Nexus buttons together) or launching the GameSir Nexus app.

When does Black Friday start?

Black Friday will arrive in full on November 28, 2025. It will last until Cyber Monday begins on December 1, 2025.
