Get hyped for the Destiny 2 console beta with this action-packed trailer

The open beta test for Destiny 2 is right around the corner, and Bungie has released a new trailer to stoke the hype. Check it out below:

The open beta period will be split up a bit, with early access running from July 18-20 on PS4 and July 19-20 on Xbox One for those who preorder the game. For everyone else, the open beta will run from July 21 through July 23. The PC beta isn't due to commence until August. However, the PC version of the game is due for an October release, so it's no surprise that its beta will come later down the line.

As for content, Bungie says the beta will include the opening of Destiny 2's story campaign, two competitive multiplayer modes, and the three-player Inverted Spire strike.

Destiny 2 will launch on consoles on September 6, and it's up for preorder now for $60.

  • Gonna skip it and get Anthem. It's made by the team you made Kotor and Mass Effect 1-3.
  • I see already that ps4 players get 3 days and xbox players get 2, I'm wondering if this is how its going to be, will sony again get exclusive content again. I may just stick with the division.
  • Sony have a deal with Bungie. That's why Bungie are holding back on making the One X version better than the Ps4 Pro version.
  • Not feeling the love for the Destiny do over. Those are some great looking areas, but they are probably 90% of the map content that's in the final game. Seems like their deal with Sony is going to keep the Xbox players feeling a little left out like the last iteration.
  • I never like this game.
  • Destiny 2 may get me for a short period, but if Anthem is as good as it looks, I will kick D2 to the curb faster then a Trump CNN body slam.
  • story campaign?  story?
