Ghostwire: Tokyo is a first-person, single-player action-adventure game published by Bethesda and developed by Tango Gameworks. The premise goes is that one day, a supernatural fog suddenly appears over the city of Tokyo, and anyone caught in it disappears, leaving only their clothes behind as if they had been banished from existence.

Our main protagonist, an ordinary man called Akito, was the only one to survive being taken by the fog and it was due to the assistance of a mysterious and suspicious spirit named “KK”. KK saved Akito because he believes he can solve the mystery behind the fog and is willing to help him by granting him magic powers.

With little choice in the matter, Akito sets off with KK to discover behind the fog and rescue the missing citizens if they’re still alive. However, they will need to be careful as they have to contend with ravenous and dangerous Yokai (mythical Japanese spirits) prowling the streets and an unknown masked group called the Visitors spying on them from the shadows.
