Lumia 710 and 800 now available on Iusacell in Mexico

We've just received word that the Lumia 710 and 800 are on sale in Mexico City on Iusacell. Sales teams are reportedly pushing both Windows Phones positively with recommending the devices as "excellent phones". Booths are available in-store for customers (and potential buyers) to experience interactive demos.

We previously covered both devices heading to the country in the week just gone. The Lumia 710 is available at Iusacell from just $320 (pesos) on 24 month plans while the Lumia 800 is priced at $729 (pesos).

The Lumia 710 is also featured on the Iusacell home page. It's positive to see the carrier in Mexico actively promoting Windows Phones, both online and off.

  • Iusacell is spelled with an "I", NOT an "L"
  • its IUSACELL not LUSACELL.
  • I was going to say the same comment, but now it's kind of pointless...just an FYI, I think the lumias are available on the 3 major carriers in Mexico, I actually bought my Lumia 800 2 weeks ago with Telcel
  • Iusacell (capital "i") "Pesos" - the plural for one peso.
  • Jejeje Lusacell suena gracioso!
  • Yeah actually both Lumias are available in three different carriers. The Lumia 710 is free with a $400 (pesos) plan to 24 months, $400 is the equivalent of $34 US Dollars. I went to the store yesterday and they were promoting it, but they didn't have an actual "demo" for it. Just behind a glass.
  • Yes people Mexico does have 4G so its not as 3rd world as one would think. Thought I'd say it before the ignorant commenters come in
  • Lighten up:)
  • Wow, the article had many mistakes, but were fixed. Guess when you don't really know about a certain place well enough, it gets to you. Lol :P
  • Do they have white lumia 800s in Mexico? Anyone know?
  • I don't think so, at least not in Telcel (the biggest carrier in the country). As a matter of fact, last week they only had black and cyan, magenta color was unavailable.
  • Do any Mexican companies support aws?
