Recently, Mafia: Definitive Edition was officially announced by 2K Games and immediately went up for preorder on the Xbox Store. When the listing leaked a few months ago, it was unclear if it was Xbox One X Enhanced, but we finally got the answer.

Mafia: Definitive Edition runs at 4K resolution according to Microsoft Store. Considering it's a remake, it should look spectacular on a 4K display. What's even better is that it only costs $40 and comes with a lot more content than the original. IGN was able to get some exclusive gameplay.

Remade from the ground up with a new game engine, an updated script, new cutscenes, additional gameplay sequences, and more, you'll rise through the ranks of the Italian Mafia during the Prohibition era of organized crime. After a run-in with the mob, cab driver Tommy Angelo is thrust into a deadly underworld. The first Mafia game is by far the best entry in the popular franchise in my opinion.

Mafia: Definitive Edition launches on September 25. You can preorder it right now or purchase it as part of the Mafia: Trilogy for $60, which is a much better deal in my opinion.
