Magnet Balls Free is an entertaining Windows Phone puzzle game where you are tasked with creating clusters of three or more of the same colored balls. Game play is match-three styled, but the balls are magnetic and can shift around as the game progresses.
As you may recall, last month AdDuplex launched a new promotional campaign, the HERO Apps program, for Windows Phone and Windows developers. The program partners AdDuplex with myAppFree, AppDeals, PluralSight and Windows Central to deliver a host of benefits to the top apps and games each month on the AdDuplex Network.
Throughout the month, Windows Central will showcase the top HERO apps and today, we shine the spotlight on Magnet Balls Free from Crazy Owl. The Windows Phone game has been around for some time but is still a popular option to have tucked away in your Windows Phone gaming library.
Magnet Balls isn't an overly complicated Windows Phone game but does have a bit of an addictive pull to it. You have a field of colored magnetic balls drifting down the screen. The goal of the game is to create matches of three or more of these balls to eliminate them from game play.
You accomplish this by shooting additional balls into the mix, in hopes of creating the matches. Just tap the screen where you want to shoot the new ball and as matches are created, the balls explode and points are earned.
The twist comes into play in that the balls are magnetic and will be drawn together should you create any small gaps by removing the matches. Sometimes this magnetic attraction will create additional matches and there will be times this attraction will shift the playing field, making you re-think your next shot.
As the game progresses, the field of magnet balls will begin to move down the screen at a faster pace. Should the field reach the bottom of the screen, the game is over.
Again, Magnet Balls Free isn't an overly complicated Windows Phone game but still a fun, somewhat addictive game. The game is free, ad-supported and not a terrible time waster of a game.
