Microsoft announces new Ocean Shadow and Winter Forces Xbox Wireless Controllers

Microsoft has announced (opens in new tab) a pair of new Xbox One Wireless Controllers set to hit store shelves in early February. Coming in either the dramatically named Ocean Shadow (opens in new tab) or Winter Forces (opens in new tab), both new controllers are set to become available on February 7 for a cool $70.
If you're familiar with the other "Shadow" finishes Microsoft has released for the Xbox Wireless Controller, then the Ocean Shadow will look fairly familiar. It starts out with a matte black top that slowly fades into a light blue metallic finish as it reaches the bottom of the controller.
The Winter Forces controller, on the other hand, predictably carries forward the same sort of finish featured on other Forces controllers. It sports a white and grey arctic camo pattern that looks pretty cool, all things considered.
With either controller, you'll also get all of the features present on the latest Xbox Wireless controller. That includes the textured grip on the back, along with Bluetooth connectivity for easily pairing the controller with your PC. For now, you can pre-order both controllers at the Microsoft Store ahead of their February 7 release.

So happy to see all of these controllers coming to market!
This summer I plan to get a 4K capable GPU, and replace my failing USB x360 controllers with new wireless XB1 units. And everyone in the family will get to choose their own! Should be a fun summer :D -
I want an Xbox one in ocean shadow

Damn it. I just paid for two design labs controllers a week ago. I would have bought that Ocean Shadow one instead of one of my custom designs. Oh well...I suppose I am only out an extra $10 and it is unique. $70 for an off the shelf controller is getting pretty expensive.

That Ocean Shadow design is slick.

I still want a copper shadow one, but it's so expensive. Not that I couldn't afford it, but using my little Brothers standard XB1 controller is much cheaper :D

These look sweet
