Jump Force mod adds Master Chief to its roster

Jump Force is a fighting game where you can play as a variety of famous anime characters in one experience. Heroes from Bleach and Naruto Shippuden make an appearance to save the world from unprecedented threats. A lot of gamers have been looking forward to this crossover experience ever since it was announced.

While Jump Force has a lot of characters, one famous fighter was missing. Luckily, a mod by a programmer known as "The Onifox" enables players to add Master Chief to the roster. The famous Spartan has a lot of moves, and can even use weapons like a shotgun and rocket launcher to dispatch foes. You can look at some of his gameplay below.

In our review, we said, "None of these issues are enough to bring a fighting game down on their own, but together they make for an excruciating exercise in patience, and I might have been able to find that patience if the game at large had more to offer. Its hyper-focus on gameplay does it no favors in that regard. Wait for a sharp discount if you must have it."

Given the reviews, it's clear that Jump Force doesn't live up to the hype. However, the fighting mechanics are still solid, and if you can overlook the plot and voice acting, it's quite a lot of fun. Hopefully Bandai Namco will improve the experience in the coming months because right now, the game feels like it was rushed out the door.
