Monster Hunter: World has been tearing up consoles for several months now, but its nearly time for PC gamers to get a shot. The game is now up for preorder with some pretty significant discounts ahead of its August 9 release.
The standard edition of the game is available for $49.19, down from $59.99, while on preorder. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition can be had for $54.97, down from $70 at Green Man Gaming.
Monster Hunter: World sees players take to a land dominated by ferocious monsters, both small and large. Tasked with taking down the beasts, you can wield several different weapon types and upgrade your armor along the way, seeking to gain any advantage you can over your prey. For PC players, the game will let you hunt at up to 4K resolution at 60 FPS, if your rig can handle it. The game also supports playing with either a keyboard and mouse or a controller.
