There's no doubt that the upcoming Prey reboot will pit you against some exceptionally paints-ruining alien beasts. Thankfully, it looks like you'll have plenty of devastatingly powerful weapons and abilities at your disposal to take on even the baddest of baddies. The latest trailer for the sci-fi shooter, appropriately titled simply "Weapons and Powers," gives us a quick peek at what to expect.
The combinations of weapons and abilities are reminiscent of the Dishonored series, which is no coincidence: Arkane Studios is behind both games. That's certainly not a bad thing, as it looks like you'll be able to mix up combat to a great degree depending on your choices. Some pretty unique (and, oftentimes, humorous) combinations are possible in the Dishonored series, and hopefully that bodes well for Prey.
Prey is gearing up to unleash its alien monstrosities to the world on May 5 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. If you want to make sure you're ready to dive in on day one, you can pre-order the game on the Xbox Store and Amazon now.
