There are no limits on the amount of times you can enter, so the more photographs you take the more likely you are to win. Sadly I live in the ugliest town in England so I'm probably out of luck. If you're a keen photographer or a casual shutterbug it may be worth considering entering.

  • This app can help monetize my photos? I read it, but I must be missing something, because that's too good to be true
  • it is true but it takes a while to build up enough to get the actual money I use it all the time
  • It always takes time - no one gives away anything for nothing - the more your images get used the more money you make. I now have $29 on PicHit ;-)
  • I'm pretty close to my $50 - $43 as of today. Been around for a bit over 2 months :))
  • Amazing offer
  • Indeed. Do you realise how difficult it is to get a Shutterstock portfolio review with the potential to be a Shutterstock contributor? This may really be a life changer for some one of us!
  • Kinda sad when the number 1 prize is a Lumia 1520. A phone that came out 2 years ago. Not saying it is a terrible phone or that it isn't worth anymore. Just saying that the first place prize is two years old already.....
  • So come 2nd
  • How is this pertinent to my comment about a lack of a new flagship release since 2013????
  • Who cares. It's probably the best Lumia til now
  • A lot of people actually do care because they've been waiting for better phones. Even if windows phones don't go obsolete after 2 years, new hardware keeps coming out and someone isn't taking advantage of those additions for new windows phones.
  • Personally, I think that the 1520 is still the best device ever launched.  Nothing on the market is close to it still. really powerful device with a great camera! Like all of you, I am hoping that by the end of the summer, I wont be able to say this anymore and we will have a mindblowing flagship to rave about!  For now, this is no accident that this is the number 1 prize with the Surface Pro 3 and all the other amzing kit!
  • While it may not be the newest flagship around, the Snapdragon 800 is plenty powerful to handle any operating system around. The Lumia 1520 also still has one of the best mobile cameras around, oh and it argubaly has the best battery life of any smartphone ever released in the past few years.  All in all, a great phone even today, and having the opportunity of winning it from a competiton free of cost is something we should all be thankful for.
  • You're right. We should all be thankful for the lack of new windows phone flagships. Thank you!
  • Flagships coming soon
  • Let's hope!
  • Personally, I think that the 1520 is still the best device ever launched.  Nothing on the market is close to it still. really powerful device with a great camera!
  • The 1st prize also includes a Surface Pro 3, which I'm all in for! Although I totally get your point - and agree.
  • Being 3rd placer isn't bad at all
  • There are prizes for 25 people in total! None of them places would be bad at all!
  • So this is Microsoft Lumia 1520 now, not Nokia Lumia 1520, huh? (kidding)
  • Is it compulsory to capture photos with LUMIA only?
  • No, the competition is open to photographers! Doesnt matter what they use to capture the photos - so dig into your hard drive and pull out all your best images and post them up there!
  • Thanks!! And I'll for sure!!
  • You can always sell the 1520 and buy a phone of your choice.
  • My 1020 is ready ❕
But wait ❗ is there any region limit ❔❓ ?
    Edit:
    OK their page says ,
    Location: Anywhere in the World.
    So, all are eligible :)
  • It's a global competition open to everyone We are allowed to post as many images as we want also, so get photo dumping and hope for the best ;-)
  • Now lets see if I can make some money..... :-))
  • What the hell is that?? The app just doesn't gets opened up and now they're running a contest.... Wow
  • A lot of work by some really smart and influential people is going on behind the scenes at this team. It is the one app that went WP first, then rolled out to iOS and Android later.  Let's make our early mover advantage count this time
  • This is an amazing competition, with amazing prizes.  What I like most about it, is that it is designed to give many people prizes, with about 25 prizes in total. That first prize though!
  • So this is open to anyone? It doesn't matter what I use to take a picture? DSLR, point and shoot, windows/android /ios phone? Posted via the Windows Central App for Android on my Oneplus One
  • Correct! All locations in the world, all phones, point-and-shoots, DSLRs, GoPros, whatever you can think of!
    Get posting! :P
  • Its a good thing but bad app not working always crashes nd cant upload images through website it shows server error
