Portal to make a triumphant return as a Bridge Constructor spin-off
Portal, Valve's popular hit puzzler, is finally returning to the spotlight — but not in the form you might expect.

Headup Games has announced the next entry in its Bridge Constructor series will be a Portal mash-up. The standalone title will see players leveraging the portal technology from Portal's Aperture Laboratories to put a new spin on Bridge Constructor's main mechanic: building bridges to usher vehicles from point to point.
Bridge Constructor Portal will blend the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories into an exciting new game experience, all under the demanding gaze of GLaDOS.
It may not be the Portal sequel that fans have been hoping for since Portal 2's 2011 release, but it's certainly an unexpected mash-up. If the game piques your interest, Headup Games says that Bridge Constructor Portal will launch on December 20 for PC, Mac, Linux, and mobile devices. Console versions are just around the corner as well, with a planned launch in early 2018, Headup says.

I bought bridge constructer, not bad, a bit low rent though, and seemed to run poorly. Loved Portal 1, 2 was good, but the narration got irritating. Not sure this is the game I need to satiate me.

I'm a die hard fan and I'll play this. It's no Portal 2 but it looks fun and we get new GLaDOS insults...

The Portal fanbase has become so desperate that we're actually willing to accept this lol

Hope gaben chokes on a piece of fruit from his sangria down in the Caribbean. Letting valve decline to being a game supplier. This is what happens, picking up desperate crumbs from his waddling past.

You built a bridge. We weren't even testing for that.
