The wait is nearly over for Halo Wars 2, and, just in time, there's a new cinematic launch trailer to stoke the hype. The trailer gives us a peek at the story that's about to unfold across the game's campaign, along with a quick look at the big bad. Check it out below:
Halo Wars 2 is set to offer up not only a story campaign and standard multiplayer, but an interesting new card-based multiplayer Blitz mode as well. In other words, if you're a Halo fan, or simply have a love for real-time strategy (RTS) games, there's plenty to dive into here.
Halo Wars 2 is set to launch on February 21 and is up for pre-order (opens in new tab) on Xbox One and Windows 10 now. If you pick up the Ultimate Edition of the game, however, you can jump in 4 days early on February 17. And if you missed out on the original Halo Wars, you'll get it for free just for buying Halo Wars 2.
