Looking for a really simple quote app? One that generates countless inspirational quotations from the likes of Confucius, Voltaire, and Grandma Moses? If so, Quotr is a new Windows Phone 8 that should fit the bill.
Quotr is as simple as it gets with an inspirational quote greeting you as the app is launched. If the quote doesn't do much for you, tap the screen and another quote is displayed. Repeat the process until you find what you're looking for.
Quotr taps into the Forismatic Library that has an extensive collection of inspirational quotes from an equally extensive collection of authors.
From beneath the three-dot menu, Quotr will let you share the quotes and, from the settings, you can find Live Tile and Lockscreen support to display quotes.
Simple would be the word to describe Quotr and in the short time we've been using the app, it comes across as a very nice resource if you're looking for a quote or just something to read to give your spirits a pep talk. My only nit... I wish the fonts were a little larger or you could pinch to zoom. For those of us fighting bi-focals, the text is a little on the small side.
Quotr is a free app for your Windows Phone 8 device that you can find here in the Windows Phone Store.
