Recently, Bethesda announced Rage 2 alongside other titles. The publisher provided extended gameplay footage of the exploration and shooting mechanics. It was a glorious time for everyone involved because we got to see a forested area for the first time.
Rage 2 looks like an insane amount of fun which also leaves a lot of room for experimentation. You can use a variety of weapons and special abilities when taking on dozens of enemies at once. The boss battles have also been dialed up a notch because now they feature massive beasts which would make anyone quiver in fear. Today, the game got another trailer from The Game Awards 2018. It's even better than the last one and showcases just how fluid the combat is.
Rage 2 is a first-person shooter which takes place in a post-apocalyptic future. Following a catastrophic asteroid impact, Earth is in ruin and numerous individuals are put into underground hibernation. Unfortunately, events don't go according to plan and the surface is overrun by mutants and an oppressive organization known as "The Authority." It's up to you to liberate everyone and dismantle the oppressive regime once and for all.
Hopefully Rage 2 will be a polished experience when it launches next year. The exact release date is May 14, 2019. Until then, you can gawk at Rage 2's visuals and rich forested areas. Keep in mind that it has no multiplayer mode.
