Remedy says no Alan Wake 2 news this summer, but we got some concept art

There won't be any Alan Wake 2 news over the course of the summer, but we do have a couple of interesting things to take a look at right now.

Remedy Entertainment shared on Thursday that while the studio had originally intended to talk more about Alan Wake 2 over the summer period, that won't be happening anymore. This will allow the developers to focus on making the game for now. With that in mind, Remedy Entertainment did share some new concept art for the game.

"We are pushing further into the horror aspect of it, but also exploring the depth of the character," says creative director Sam Lake.

In addition to this update on the game, Lake also shared that AMC has purchase the rights to an Alan Wake TV show, though there's no other update on that front right now. AMC Networks is known for major series such as Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. You can watch the full conversation below:

Alan Wake 2 is currently slated to launch at some point in 2023. Whenever the game arrives, it'll be available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and PS5.
