Stardock's mid-week Steam sale sees 70 percent off Galactic Civilizations 3

You can save big on Galactic Civilizations 3 until Friday.

Galactic Civilizations 3, the latest installment in the popular 4X space series, is currently on sale as part of Stardock's mid-week Steam sale. With 55 percent (70 percent for the Gold Edition) subtracted from the asking price, it's possible to pick up the strategy gem for just $13.49 — and if you're upgrading from either Galactic Civilizations 1 or 2, it'll be just $6.74. Finally, Galactic Civilizations 3: Crusade is on sale for $14.99.

The Steam sale is combined with the release of a new Mech DLC for shipbuilders. Priced at $2.99, this new DLC includes new frames, beams, hooks, heads, and thrusters in the new robotic theme. There are even two new color styles to boot.
