The Surface Pro 4 is a follow-up to the Surface Pro 3 2-in-1 PC from Microsoft, announced on October 6, 2015 (along with the new Surface Book).
The footprint of the Surface Pro 4 remains the same as its predecessor, but the display size is now at 12.3-inches with a body that's just 8.4mm. Inside, the Surface Pro 4 is packing a 6th-gen Intel Core Skylake processor, up to 1TB SSD storage, and up to 16GB RAM. There's also a fingerprint scanner and hybrid cooling system. An 8MP rear-facing camera sits on the back, while the front is decked in Gorilla Glass 4 — optimized for both touch and pen input.
Like previous models, the Surface Pro 4 also has a continuous kickstand, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, microSD slot, USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort and headset jack.
All Surface models are running a 64-bit version of Windows 10 and come with a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office.
